I've been seeing this a lot, and if you didn't notice, you CANNOT choose your own age. Everyone must start off as a youngster(7-10 years old). NO EXCEPTIONS (unless you're staff, which will be VERY hard to get into.)
Youngster: 0-49 posts (1 star)
Tween: 50-99 posts (11-12 yrs.; 2 stars)
Teen: 100-249 posts (13-19 yrs.; 3 stars)
Young Adult: 250-499 posts (20-29 yrs.; 4 stars)
Adult: 500-749 posts (30-49 yrs.; 5 stars)
Older Adult: 750-999 posts (50-64 yrs.; 5 stars)
Elder: 1,000+ posts (65+ yrs.; 5 stars)
Youngster: 0-49 posts (1 star)
